The LDP team left Kasese after church today and after 3 1/2 hours on the road, we arrived at the Hotel Riverside. We by chance, arrived at the same time as all of the Compassion children that will be meeting their sponsors on the team!
How fun it was to reconnect as team, as well as getting to meet up with our Compassion kids, many for the first time.
Meanwhile the team that was in Rukungiri went to church in Kiyaga, where Ezra, one of the Mosaic children lives. John preached on the Good Samaritan and was received well by the congregation. After church, the team went to Ezra's house for lunch and the blessing of his family's new home. Mosaic built the house for this family of 7 orphans after their old one was about to collapse. They have an amazing story of how God provided for them through extended family and neighbors.
